The Christmas Day of 2009 is coming soon, before we starting our Holidays, look back upon the past year, to see what events can made you crazy or unforgettable, what can made you sad or upset. Well, I summarize the top 10 events of the Internet in 2009, which is in my own opinion, share your opinion with me or just digg it.

1. Google Released Chrome Operating System

Google chrome operating system can only run at the Internet, the point is that the free Google chrome operating system may be a challenger of Windows in the future, because Google have tabke the most of search engine market. But it will be long before every people can use Google chrome operating system.

2. MicroSoft Bing Search instead of Live Search

It seemed that Bing had done a good in north America, but in other area of the world, Bing lose to Google, Yahoo or the native search engine. As far as I am concerned, I use Google as the first choice and Yahoo or Ask as the second choice.

3. Michael Jackson became the hottest word in Google

The genius singer left this world with nothing, but he leave to people memories and arguments. Thanks god, we have the search engine, we can still find out the great memories from the Internet.

4. Barack Obama own the Internet of 2009

2009 was Obama’s year, companies who didd’t take the most use of the Internet or people who was learning SEO or SEM should analysis this case, the Internet or search engine could influence the American presidential election, much less a company or a brand.

5. Windows 7

Windows 7 is the OS I have ever used before, much more better than Vista, much more convenient than Windows XP. We can make a unique OS for ourselves easy and quickly. Windows 7 is a milepost at the OS history.

6. Oracle’s acquisition of Sun

I was very worried about MySQL when I heared this news at April, although the merger of Oracle and Sun may reshape high-tech industries, the worried about monopoly and MySQL is necessary, there was no need to use Oracle for the small websites such as blog, and this can also made the development of the open source software became haeder.

7. Twitter connect the world or become a political tool

In June, the Twitter users in Iran begun to release information to the world by Twitter when the foreign reporters was threw out. In the many other news events, Twitter is also used to announce what have seen or heard by the witnesses. In my opinions, Twitter should be a too only for communicating or read news and distance from politics.

8. Jobs once again return to Apple

After overcoming health problems, Steve Jobs once again return to Apple dispeled the concerns of the Apple fans.

9. Microsoft and Yahoo made a deal: Yahoo’s search business will disappear?

Yahoo was once the biggest search engine, but now it was defeated by Google and some other search engines. After a whole year of negotiations, they finally made a deal that Microsoft’s new search operator Bing will run at Yahoo’s search site and Yahoo will sell search advertisment of the two companies, so where will Yahoo Search go to be?

10. The last one: What are we expect in 2010?

New technology promote the development Internet and the Internet promote the economic development, they both come true in 2009, how about 2010?
